TOURISM PROMOTIONS BOARD

The Philippine Tourism Promotions Board (PTPB) was created by virtue of Republic Act No. 9593 (The Tourism Act of 2009) to market and promote the Philippines domestically and internationally as a world-class tourism and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) destination, in strategic partnership with private and public stakeholders to deliver a unique high-value experience for visitors, significantly contributing to increase arrivals, receipt and investments to the country.

  1. To encourage strong collaboration and partnership with private sector and tourism stakeholders in marketing the Philippines as a premier tourist and MICE destination.
  2. To provide a platform to build business, insights, network and brand for its members.
  3. To support DOT’s progressive accreditation scheme for tourism-related establishments.
  4. To professionalize the tourism industry through improved reputation, greater customer satisfaction, and effective management.

The TPB Membership Program aims to provide marketing services and benefits to its members through various areas of activity which promote, advocate, and represent the interests of its members for the benefit and sustainable development of their business and the tourism industry as a whole.

MEMBERSHIP REPRESENTATIONS

The Membership to the Philippine Tourism Promotions Board (PTPB) represents the various components of the tourism industry: entities, groups, and individuals with direct or indirect economic, social, and cultural interest in the tourism industry.

As an attached agency of the Department of Tourism (DOT), the TPB must support the government’s objective in standardizing establishment’s operation to ensure the safety, comfort, and convenience of tourists, local and foreign. Thus, the TPB Membership shall be directed towards entities who have been DULY ACCREDITED BY THE DOT and have complied with its minimum standards.

A MEMBER of the TPB is defined as entities and groups who are duly accredited by the Philippine Department of Tourism and requires immediate exposure through TPB’s online and print marketing channels, business networking opportunities, referrals, and paid access to additional business development workshops.

Provision of Philippine promotional collaterals

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Application for Membership will be through the PTPB Corporate Website (PTPB Membership link).
Steps:
1. Online application form
2. Acknowledgement email from TPB
3. Review of application
4. Submission of documents:
  • Scanned PDOT Accreditation Certificate
  • Certificate of Employment (for permanent and alternative representative)
  • Any other documents deemed pertinent by the Secretariat
5. Statement of account 6. Payment of fees
