The World Coconut Congress is the premier global event for the coconut industry as it brings together key players from across the supply chain- including producers, processors, exporters, researchers, policy makers and investors.  This year’s WCC, with its theme: “Future-proofing the Coconut” will delve on talks, opportunities and activities to ensure that the coconut industry remains resilient, profitable and sustainable for future generations amidst the current unpredictable global landscape.

The event is targeting 100 foreign participants for the Congress, while 10 companies are expected to participate in the Exhibition component.  The event is also expecting 300 local participants.  Buyers from 11 participating countries/regions including the UK, ASEAN, China, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand, and India markets where the Philippines presently has existing FTAs (Free Trade Agreements) and trade partnership negotiations taking place either directly/on a bilateral basis or multilateral through ASEAN, will participate.  Other participating countries include France, Canada and the USA.
