Additional Details:	The World Robot Olympiad (WRO) is a global event for science, technology and education that brings together young people from all over the world, particularly in Asia, Pacific and Oceania regions, to help develop their creativity and problem-solving skills in a fun and engaging way through challenging robot competitions. The event is targeting a total of 800 participants composed of around 600 foreign delegates from 33 participating countries, and some 200 local participants from all over the Philippines.

An attached agency of the Department of Tourism, the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) exists to market and promote the Philippines domestically and internationally as a world-class tourism and MICE destination, in strategic partnership with private and public stakeholders to deliver a unique high-value experience for visitors, significantly contributing to increased arrivals, receipts and investments to the country.
