TPB MICECONNECT 2021 in Boracay

Boracay Island, Aklan — As the country eases restrictions for domestic travel, the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines, in partnership with the Boracay MICE Alliance, brings MICECONNECT 2021 on November 13-15, 2021 to the Island of Boracay.MICECONNECT is a spin-off of MICECON (Philippine MICE Conference) THAT provides a platform for buyers and sellers of MICE products & services to generate business. In particular, the event integrates business-to-business (B2B) meetings, product inventory, familiarization trip and an experiential showcase of the island.

With the theme “Future-ready M.I.C.E.: Renew, Reboot, Revitalize”, MICECONNECT is being offered for free especially to those selling MICE products and services such as meeting facilities, hotels & resorts, tour & transport operators, event management companies, destination management companies (DMCs) and the like.

This year’s MICECONNECT gathers 48 Buyers that include professionals from the private and public sectors including local and international MICE planners and organizers, professional and civic organizations, top Philippine companies, Professional Congress Organizers (PCOs), Professional Exhibition Organizers (PEOs), and government tourism offices.

52 Participating Philippine sellers come from various travel trade sectors particularly hotels and resorts, convention centers, tour and transport operators, Event Management Companies (EMCs), as well as performing artists. Slots will be available in the one-day virtual business-to-business session with the invited MICE buyers.

Boracay remains to be the country’s tourism destination icon that offer leisure activities.

MICECONNECT 2021 on a hybrid format now endeavors to position Boracay as a MICE venue with its upgraded amenities and facilities to support MICE activities.
