In place of the institutional JATA Tourism Expo Japan (TEJ) 2021, the Japan Association of Travel Agency (JATA) has organized the 2nd JATA Online Travel Mart which will run for 5 weeks starting 25 October 2021 and culminating on 26 November 2021. JATA is the largest travel organization in Japan responsible to advance outbound, inbound and domestic travel. It regularly organizes a JATA Tourism Expo Japan; however, due to the COVID pandemic and the Emergency Decree of the national government, JATA has migrated to the virtual platform.

The 32nd Philippine Travel Mart (PTM) is the longest-running travel trade exhibition in the Philippines, PTM will operate based on the new normal and within the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) guidelines on safety protocols as mandated by the Department of Tourism (DOT).

Organized by the Philippine Tour Operators association (PHILTOA), PTM will feature:

•Business meetings with potential clients directly on the show area
•FUNdemic of Safe and Travel Experience (Sale ng Bayan Tour Packages) will allow the traveling consumers to “book and buy” promotional holiday packages, airfare deals, accommodation and other tourism related services to be offered exclusively for 3 days for as low as 70% off.
•School based competitions in the promotions of Philippine culture and heritage in a hybrid set-up will also be part of the program (Cultural Dance, Himig ng Kundiman, Patimpalak ng Kasuotang Pilipino, Eco-Chorale, Tourism Quiz Bee)

22nd ATOP National Convention and Pearl Awards 28 November 2021

In lieu of travel and social gathering limitations, the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines (ATOP) will be celebrating their annual event through a synergistic new-norm approach: A staged event broadcasted live on social media and remote communication platforms in order to achieve the annual morale-boosting gathering, while being at the comfort of their own homes. The event will be organized by a private digital events provider with expertise in integrated marketing & communications, broadcasting both live and via digital platforms and full production capability.

The event will comprise of a comprehensive inspirational, methodological training, actual convention of members, sparked with entertainment micro- segments that will run for 2.5hours. A must-attend event for anyone interested or involved in the world of diving, the event has seen continuous visitors over the past few years, with ADEX 2019 attracting a total of 60,590 visitors, with the breakdown as follows: 40,119 consumers and 20,471 trade visitors. The total exhibitors were 265 and total number of booths were 393. The Philippines has been successfully participating in ADEX for 10 years due to its wide range of opportunities for Philippine tourism and our participating private sectors. The target groups of ADEX as a whole are the buyers and trade delegates who are working in the diving industry and other related water sports activities searching for business opportunities in Asia and sellers from all over the world.

The Kaohsiung International Travel Fair (KITF) is an annual and biggest fair in Southern Taiwan. This event is organized by the Kaohsiung Association of Travel Agents (KATA). There are around 300,000 visitors who attend this event in search for summer holiday destinations.

    The Travel Tour Expo (TTE), considered as the country’s biggest annual travel and tourism event, was initially held in 1994 so that Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) members could have a platform to offer discounted domestic and international travel deals along with other travel related products and merchandize.

    The 28th Travel Tour Expo was conceptualized to help jumpstart the recovery of Philippine tourism. Specifically, the event aims to:

    1. Provide an on-line and physical platform for consumers from different tourism-oriented establishments;

    2. Provide platform to tourism stakeholders for business exchange;

    3. Promote and develop domestic and inbound tourism by showcasing Philippine tourist attractions and latest offerings;

    The 32nd Philippine Travel Mart (PTM) is the longest-running travel trade exhibition in the Philippines, PTM will operate based on the new normal and within the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) guidelines on safety protocols as mandated by the Department of Tourism (DOT).

    Organized by the Philippine Tour Operators association (PHILTOA), PTM will feature:

    •Business meetings with potential clients directly on the show area
    •FUNdemic of Safe and Travel Experience (Sale ng Bayan Tour Packages) will allow the traveling consumers to “book and buy” promotional holiday packages, airfare deals, accommodation and other tourism related services to be offered exclusively for 3 days for as low as 70% off.
    •School based competitions in the promotions of Philippine culture and heritage in a hybrid set-up will also be part of the program (Cultural Dance, Himig ng Kundiman, Patimpalak ng Kasuotang Pilipino, Eco-Chorale, Tourism Quiz Bee)

    22nd ATOP National Convention and Pearl Awards

    In lieu of travel and social gathering limitations, the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines (ATOP) will be celebrating their annual event through a synergistic new-norm approach: A staged event broadcasted live on social media and remote communication platforms in order to achieve the annual morale-boosting gathering, while being at the comfort of their own homes. The event will be organized by a private digital events provider with expertise in integrated marketing & communications, broadcasting both live and via digital platforms and full production capability.

    The event will comprise of a comprehensive inspirational, methodological training, actual convention of members, sparked with entertainment micro- segments that will run for 2.5hours. Guest speakers to deliver global perspective on how tourism sectors are managing the re-opening of industry and championing strategic leadership through the pandemic: adaptability and problem-solving with the virtues of optimism and resilience, and empowerment

    This will also include the conduct of the Pearl Awards, a yearly awarding ceremonies recognizing best tourism practices of the local government units and individuals.

    2. To enlighten, empower, and inspire our tourism units by celebrating optimism through guest speakers known best for excellence in leadership training.

    A must-attend event for anyone interested or involved in the world of diving, the event has seen continuous visitors over the past few years, with ADEX 2019 attracting a total of 60,590 visitors, with the breakdown as follows: 40,119 consumers and 20,471 trade visitors. The total exhibitors were 265 and total number of booths were 393. The Philippines has been successfully participating in ADEX for 10 years due to its wide range of opportunities for Philippine tourism and our participating private sectors. The target groups of ADEX as a whole are the buyers and trade delegates who are working in the diving industry and other related water sports activities searching for business opportunities in Asia and sellers from all over the world.

    The Kaohsiung International Travel Fair (KITF) is an annual and biggest fair in Southern Taiwan. This event is organized by the Kaohsiung Association of Travel Agents (KATA). There are around 300,000 visitors who attend this event in search for summer holiday destinations.

    Kaohsiung is said to be the third largest source of outbound traffic from Taiwan. This market is important for the Philippine promotions to maintain its awareness and for its proximity to the country, and the direct flights via China Airlines and the newly-launched flights of Air Asia.
